We were recommended to follow this treatment twice annually, and we have adhered to it twice since relocating to Ecuador more than a year ago. In this region, intestinal parasitic infections are common, as noted by long-term residents. Typically, we experience discomfort and diarrhea after meals, and though the three-day regimen is challenging due to initial feelings of illness, including dizziness or headaches, these symptoms subside shortly after completion, and the short duration makes a significant impact on our well-being.
