Anti-inflammatory

Anti-inflammatory drugs reduce inflammation (redness, swelling, pain) in the body. Steroids or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are two different types of medications that are used to reduce inflammation in the body due to different causes. The former blocks both arms of the inflammatory cascade while the latter blocks only one arm of the inflammatory cascade.
